Spaghetti Bolognese
Ingredients:
2 liters of water
500g spaghetti
Salt
Extra-virgin olive oil
Ingredients for bolognese:
Extra-virgin olive oil
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
2 garlic cloves, peeled and coarsely chopped
REX Tomato Pasta Sauce
Chicken / beef or sausage
Sliced mushrooms (optional)
Italian herbs (optional)
Cherry tomato (optional)
Seasoning powder
Method
- In a pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti as per packet directions.
- Heat olive oil in a pan. Stir fry chicken / beef or sausage until nicely brown.
- Add onion and garlic. Cook on medium heat until onion turns golden brown.
- Pour REX tomato pasta sauce.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cherry tomato (optional).
- Stir and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add a little water, seasoning powder and Italian herbs as preferred.
- Spaghetti Bolognese is ready to be served.
